I am a trauma-informed therapist, author, co-host of The Sensitivity Doctor’s Podcast, researcher, and certified meditation and yoga instructor. My specialties include art therapy, internal family systems (IFS), EMDR, and brainspotting.
I am currently a psychology professor at Yorkville University and a nationally recognized relationship expert featured on SiriusXM Doctor Radio’s The Psychiatry Show as well as NPR’s The Measure of Everyday Life. Always passionate about research- my private practice is also part of the Traumatic Stress Research Consortium at the Kinsey Institute.

People who are gifted and intuitive yet conscientious and determined not to make mistakes ought to be treasured employees. But we are less likely to fit into the business world when the metaphors for achievement are warfare, pioneering and expansion.” This training helps managers and co-workers work more cohesively with HSP’s as well as help HSP employees enhance their strengths in the work environment.
While some workplace, educational or group stress is normal, excessive stress can interfere with your productivity and performance, impact your physical and emotional health, and affect your relationships and home life. This training explores ways in which to harness the positive aspects of stress, while still make self-care a top priority. **This training can be offered with or without an instructional meditation workshop included.**
Taking breaks in the workday with Yoga has proven to be one of the most effective ways in helping employees relieve stress and become refreshed and more focused. This workshop provide’s evidence-based practices for reducing stress and chronic pain, which can be present in the workplace due physical or mental strain. Mindfulness practices as well as Yoga sequences practiced in chairs, or standing in small office spaces, will be taught by Dr. Kelley, RYT. No equipment is necessary, as this workshop will fully integrate into the workplace.
